This publication addresses the development of a software capable of crossing the information of the bibliographic catalogues of libraries, with commercial catalogues. The creation of this type of computer applications is feasible and highly recommended, since a very high average of successes can be obtained.

Case study about the commercialization of books in Spanish, published around the second third of the twentieth century. The focus of this research is the position of those works almost forgotten and concentrate on its ‘on-demand printing or small facsimile editions, through large websites dedicated to the sale of second-hand works.

This article analyses the legal solutions for digitalisation of protected works deposited in documentary and cultural heritage institutions. The main difficulty in achieving this objective is the requirement that protected works cannot be used without the agreement between the owners of the rights of those works and the users.

This study analyzes the concept of data analysis, as well as the different types of data and their possible regulation, presenting an overview of how in recent years some open licensing schemes have been implemented in order to avoid the legal obstacles faced by the inclusion of these data types in the creation of new knowledge.
