The students of the Programme have access to the whole network of the Complutense Library. The library of the Faculty of Philology and María Zambrano offer a wide variety of bibliographic resources related to French studies (monographs, scientific journals, scientific journals, manuals, literary works, etc.).
In addition to the study rooms in the libraries, there is a computer room in the Faculty with 33 computers available to students.

Libraries

The Faculty of Philology has two libraries:

• María Zambrano Library

A modern and well-equipped library, located between Edificios B and D. It has three large reading rooms: Law, Philology, and one for group work.

This library is located on the 1st floor of Edificio A of the Faculty of Philology.

Classrooms and Rooms

The PhD Program in French Studies has some regularly used classrooms for different activities: the SEMDEF lectures, the SEMDOC day, and the SAMD.

• D-2.315

This room usually hosts the SEMDEF lectures. It is located in Edificio D of the Faculty of Philology.

To get there, go to the right wing of the building and go up to the top floor. Then head towards the ERFITeI department area, and to the right you will find a small area with tables. At the far right, you will find the room.

• Sala de Juntas

In this room of Edificio A of the Faculty of Philology, the program presentation and, among other events, the SEMDEF inaugural lecture usually take place.

It is located on the first floor of the building in the left wing, at the beginning of the corridor.

• Salón de Grados

Some SEMDEF and SEMDOC lectures may take place in this room of Edificio A of the Faculty of Philology.

It is located on the first floor of the building in the right wing, at the beginning of the corridor.

• Laboratorio de Filologías digitales

The SAMD takes place in this room of Edificio A of the Faculty of Philology.

It is located on the ground floor, next to the building’s cafeteria.
