OPEN HEARING ON DOCTORATES OF THE FACULTY OF PHILOLOGY WHO RENEW THEIR ACCREDITATION IN THE COURSE 2020-2021
Regarding the doctorates of the Faculty of Philology that are in the process of renewing their respective accreditations, an opinion on any aspect related to said degrees can be issued through the following form: (access here). EXCELLENCE AWARD AND ACCREDITATION FROM THE ANECA
The PhD in French Studies has received the Excellence Award (Resolution of October 6, 2011, BOE of October 20, 2011) with the reference MEE2011-0416.
It has also been accredited by ANECA and the Council of Universities according to Resolution of September 26, 2013.
SCIENTIFIC VALUE
The PhD in French Studies is part of the Research, Development and Innovation strategy of UCM, through recognized research groups and the integration of some of them in the Campus of Excellence (CEI Moncloa), within the Cultural Heritage cluster.
COLLABORATIONS
The PhD program in French Studies also has an extensive network of open collaborations with several departments and universities, both national and international. Either co-tutelle agreements or thesis co-supervision, or by Erasmus agreement and constant and regular exchange of teaching and research visits of their respective members. SISTEMA DE GARANTÍA INTERNA DE CALIDAD (SGIC):
The improvements implemented as a result of the deployment of the SGIC are as follows:
- The SGIC regulations were approved by the Quality Committee of the Faculty of Philology in June 2019.
- Following the recommendations of the Monitoring Report, in this academic year 2022-2023, the figure of the external agent in the Quality Committee has been incorporated. At the proposal of the Academic Committee, the appointment has been made to Professor Camino Álvarez Castro, Lecturer at the University of Oviedo.
- The Quality Committee has monitored the functioning of the doctoral programme through meetings with the Academic Committee and through the surveys carried out by the teaching staff and students.
- The Quality Committee and the Academic Committee participate in the meetings of the Quality Committee of the Faculty of Philology. Specifically, on 7 November 2022, in an asynchronous meeting, the monitoring reports of the Faculty of Philology were approved.
- Regarding the complaints and suggestions system: no complaints or suggestions have been received directly from teaching staff, administrative and service staff or students, or through the suggestions box.
