Observatorio de la cultura postdigital y de estrategias de reciclaje

REC-LIT es un proyecto interdisciplinar de investigación teórica y aplicada para la era post-digital, post-global y post-data. Se centra en las estrategias y modelos de reciclaje de los textos literarios en el hipermedia, así como en las posibilidades de reapropiación de lo textual-literario cuando ya estudiantes y usuarios todos han tomado como marco de referencia cultural los productos del hipermedia.

A pesar de que, gracias a la digitalización masiva, el patrimonio cultural y literario parece más accesible que nunca, el desafío está hoy en (1) comprender las nuevas continuidades entre lo analógico y lo digital, y las modificaciones de los relatos colectivos e identitarios que son su consecuencia, (2) propiciar un reciclaje contextualizado de lo literario gracias a formas y herramientas digitales de reapropiación accesibles a la mayoría.

Por ello, REC-LIT se da por objetivos: (i) identificar estrategias de reciclaje cultural de lo literario, marcas postdigitales en la literatura y tendencias postdigitales, postglobales y postdata; (ii) formular modelos de hermenéutica literaria a medio camino y como puente entre métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos, entre el dato y el relato, a manera de ‘mid-reading’ y ‘social-reading’; (iii) implementar y poner a prueba modelos y utilidades de recuperación del patrimonio literario en el archivo digital, tanto de tipo interpretativo como productivo-creativo, adecuados a los retos de la era postdigital.

En REC-LIT se aplicarán y validarán los modelos y mecanismos mediante experimentos reales con distintos grupos (escolares, estudiantes universitarios y mayores) de forma que la innovación científica y las formas de reapropiación significativa del patrimonio se acerquen a todos en forma de "ciencia ciudadana".

REC-LIT Cultural Recycling: Transliteratures in the Postdigital Age

REC-LIT is an interdisciplinary project based on theoretical and applied research for the post-digital, post-global and post-data era. It deals with literary texts’ recycling models and strategies in hypermedia, focusing on the possibilities that emerge for the reappropriation of the textual-literary when students and general users have already absorved as their main cultural frame the products of hypermedia.

Despite the fact that, thanks to massive digitalisation projects, the cultural and literary heritage seems more accessible than ever, the actual challenge is found in (1) understanding the new continuities between the analogue and the digital, and the modifications of collective and identitarian narratives that these involve. (2) It is also necessary to facilitate a contextualized recycling of the literary thanks to accessible tools and modes of appropriation.

For this purpose, REC-LIT has the following objectives: (i) identifying cultural recycling strategies of the literary, traces of postdigital culture, as well as postglobal and postdata tendencies in literature; (ii) formulating models of literary hermeneutics bridging the gap between qualitative and quantitative methods, between data and narratives, after a ‘mid-reading’ and ‘social-reading’ fashion; (iii) implementing and testing recuperation models and utilities of the literary heritage in the digital archive, of the interpretative and creative-productive type, adequate to the challenges of our postdigital era.

In REC-LIT the proposed models and mechanisms will be validated through real experiments with different groups (schoolchildren, university students, and older adults) so that scientific innovation and formulas of significant reappropriation of the heritage are brought closer to the general public in the shape of a “citizen science”.
