Current research
My research focuses on reorienting pre-service teacher training in Science Education (particularly Chemistry Didactics) through an ecosocial and transformative lens, fostering the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to address global challenges. As co-director of the research group Ecology and Environmental Education in the School, I develop the following lines of work:

How pre-service teachers’ knowledge and intentions shape their ability to teach science through critical, inclusive, and/or transformative approaches.

Active methodologies (e.g., Service-Learning, Design for Change) to promote socioscientific reasoning and student motivation in science learning.

Exploration of pedagogical adaptations emphasizing ethical and practical dilemmas (e.g., sustainability, vulnerable contexts).
