Main task in the project:

Within CirCoCreation, the City of Leuven is involved from a tangible stake in the local circular economy transition, with an eye on sociocultural valorization, and especially via the active support of the Materials Bank which is also included as a partner in the project. Within Leuven’s circular economy strategy and climate roadmap, the Materials Bank arose as a demonstration project in the context of sustainable economic models with socio-cultural valorization potential for which a great need is anticipated in climate and circular economy transition.
