Mid Sweden University (MIUN) was founded in 2005 as a global university with a regional commitment with research and education for life. The university is situated in geographical centre of Sweden with one campus in Sundsvall and one in Östersund having 24000 students ( 000 at campus and 18000 mainly on distance educations), 61 bachelor, 36 master level educations and 446 courses. There are 170 PhD students, 108 professors, 1 200 employees and a turnover of 1,2 billion SEK.

Main task in the project:

Within CirCoCreation, the MIUN team mainly participates in WP2, the main task is focus on the establishment of UCCI as living labs of the circular urban ecosystem to illustrate how closing the gaps between stakeholders can lead to successful recycling, reuse and upcycling of materials. Their approach includes the re-design of products to increase their recyclability.
