PhD in Psychology from the Complutense Univeristy of Madrid (UCM; 1996). Since 1993 she has been a professor in the Department of Personality, Evaluation and Clinical Psychology. She has also taught on various postgraduate courses and specialisation programmes in different centres and institutions. In 1994 she began to combine her teaching and research activities with clinical intervention, first at the Spanish Cancer Association and later at the San Carlos Clinical Hospital. His research and professional activity has been focused on the field of gynaecological psycho-oncology, an area in which he has published various research papers that have enjoyed scientific and professional recognition.
