Julián Ocampo, arquitecto de la firma Bjarke Ingels Group en Nueva York, impartirá la conferencia "3D printing and its application in on and off earth environments", el próximo 21 de febrero de 2023 a las 15h. La conferencia será online, en breve se publicará el enlace que dará acceso a la misma.
Sobre Julián Ocampo y el Proyecto Olympus:
Julian Ocampo is a Designer currently working with BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group in New York City where he specializes in additive manufacturing, notably leading much of BIG’s space and 3D printed related work. More recently, Julian led the design teams behind Project Olympus, humanity´s first permanent construction outside planet earth, and Mars Dune Alpha, a 3D printed habitat built to simulate a realistic Mars habitat to support long-duration space missions. Both projects designed in association with NASA and ICON Technologies.
Prior to joining BIG, Julian has collaborated with different design studios around the world such as Diller Scofidio + Renfro in New York City, MVRDV in Rotterdam and selgascano in Madrid. He holds an MArch from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Waterloo.
