The evolution of motivation in the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom is crucial for fostering a positive learning environment. This workshop begins with reflection questions designed to raise awareness of the significance of motivation in EFL settings. Participants will be presented with common classroom scenarios to explore how motivation diminishes and how building healthy relationships among students can reverse this trend. The session will introduce both extrinsic and intrinsic motivational strategies, ranging from simple techniques using paper to innovative AI resources that teachers can effectively integrate into their practice. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with practical tools and insights to enhance student motivation and engagement, ultimately transforming the EFL learning experience into one that inspires curiosity and fosters lifelong language skills
