Admission requirements
The admission to the MA’s program is subject to the regulations developed in the Royal Decree 1393/2007.
The programme is entirely taught in English.
In order to gain admission to the program, applicants will be required to have an English language certificate equivalent to one of the following levels: Common European Framework of Reference for Languages Level C1; “Certificado Superior de Aptitud de la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas”. As recommended by CRUE Universidades Españolas and ACLES, only those certificates obtained in exams taken in person will be accepted. It is also required to have obtained one of the following university degrees: Degree in English Philology/English Studies or Degree in Translation and Interpretation.
Assessment criteria:
i) Academic background in the field provided by the university degree (up to 4 points).
ii) Average grade on the official transcript of records (up to 4 points).
iii) Other CV merits (up to 2 points).
The applications will be assessed by the Master's Coordination Committee.

Students with foreign university degrees
The students with foreign university degrees will only be able to preregister as graduate students. They will have to present either the official approval of their degree, the authorization issued by the validation or, if it is in process of validation, the receipt of having requested it in the Department of Validations (Negociado de Convalidaciones) of this university (Negociado de Convalidaciones, Edificio de Alumnos. In the case the authorization of admission was not resolved within the deadline of enrollment, it is possible to make a conditional registration, solely depending on that authorization.
