Inmaculada Matía Polo

Inmaculada MatíaPhD in Musicology and Law Degree from the UCM. She is currently part of the faculty of the UCM and the Katarina Gurska Higher School. Her research activity focuses on theatre music in Spain in the s. XIX and XX, and more recently, through the figures of Encarnación López Júlvez "La Argentinita" and Pastora Rojas Monge "Pastora Imperio"


Amalia Casas

Amalia Casas

PhD in Psychology and Postgraduate in Pianistic Interpretation at the Franz Liszt Academy. Long research and teaching career in Higher Art Education Institutions, and currently at the Complutense University of Madrid.


Teresa Fraile

Teresa Fraile

PhD in Musicology from the University of Salamanca, and violin teacher at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Salamanca. She is a professor at Universidad Complutense University of Madrid at the Musicology Department, specializing in music and audiovisual media, ethnomusicology, and popular music. 


Fernán del Val

Fernán del Val

PhD in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid, Assistant Professor at UNED. He is an investigator in the sociology of culture and the arts, particularly in the sociology of music.

 

 

 


Elena Torres Clemente

Elena Torres

PhD in Musicology from the University of Granada. Professor of the Department of Musicology and director of the Master's Degree in Flamenco at the Complutense University of Madrid. Her research activity focuses on Spanish music of the 20th century, with special attention to the figure and work of the composer Manuel de Falla.


Julio Arce

Julio Arce

PhD in Musicology, and professor at the musicology department of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Specializes in music and film, media, and urban popular music. 


Ruth Piquer

Ruth Piquer

PhD in Musicology from the Complutense University of Madrid, assistant professor in the Musicology Department. She has been a speaker at international congresses and has taught courses on musical aesthetics, music history, popular music, and musical iconography. Her research specialty is in higher and professional music education institutions.


Marco Antonio Juan de Dios

PhD in Musicology from the University of Oviedo, Associate Professor in the Musicology Department at the Complutense University of Madrid. His research focuses on the knowledge of music production and the music industry.


Paco Bethencourt

Trinidad Jiménez

PhD in Musicology and guitarist. PhD assistant professor at the Department of Musicology and artistic coordinator of the Master's Degree in Flamenco at the Complutense University of Madrid. Involved in performances and own records with international musicians and the central axis of his research is contemporary flamenco.
