Conservación, pensamiento y sociedad
Los profesionales de la conservación-restauración son agentes activos que desempeñan un rol fundamental en la mediación y la configuración de la cultura material que custodiamos, y que no sólo se relacionan con los valores materiales del patrimonio cultural, sino también con las ideas, los significados, los valores y las personas. La filosofía del patrimonio y de su conservación responde a una doble actitud: la actitud crítica y la actitud reflexiva en el contexto social donde se produce.
Es por esta razón que proponemos fuentes para estudiar los elementos que influyen en la toma de decisiones y guían la práctica de la conservación: ideas y pensamientos, contextos culturales y sociales, significación y resignificación del patrimonio cultural, ética, deontología y filosofía, así como la evolución del perfil profesional.
Las redes, grupos de investigación, investigadores y publicaciones seleccionadas abordan aspectos como el principio de neutralidad, los límites en la conservación, el diálogo para la conservación. Asimismo, plantean intersesantes términos como vivencia, experiencia, objetividad, subjetividad, observación, y otros como conservación crítica, procesos de toma de decisiones, conservación disruptivam filosofía de la conservación, epistemología de la conservación [critical conservation, decision making process, disruptive conservation, conservation philosophy, conservation epistemology]

Al tratarse CABINET de un proyecto de investigación dinámico, las fuentes se van incorporando según se identifican y se comprueban, sumando una interesante información a medida que el trabajo avanza. Por tanto, el listado ofrecido está en permanente construcción.
