Blanca Fernández-Soriano graduated in English Studies (First Class Honors & Extraordinary Award) at the University of Alicante (UA) in 2021. In 2023, she completed a MA in English Linguistics (2022, First Class Honors) at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She has been awarded with a predoctoral research scholarship (FPU), granted by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, and is currently a PhD cantidate at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her interest areas include Cultural Linguistics, Cognitive Linguistics and Sociolinguistics. Her PhD thesis deals with cultural concepts and peripheral documents produced by migrant women.
