The teaching hospitals and health-care providers associated with the University are health-care reference centres of the highest level. Their main aim is to develop academic and research related activities in preventive medicine and medical assistance, and the practice of health care under current regulation.

The Complutense Veterinary Hospital provides service as well as teaching and research support in accordance with the current legislation.
