It should be noted that the granting of aid for these exchange programs is subject to budgetary availability.
Participation in exchange programs requires strict compliance with the following requirements:
Submission of the following documentation to the International Relations Office, one month in advance, for referral to the Vice-Rectorate for International Relations and Cooperation for report and opinion:
FOREIGN FACULTY AND RESEARCH PERSONNEL
a) Proposed by the UCM:
- Proposal for a visit, under agreement, with the authorization of the Dean or Director of the Center, and the Department Director, recorded on the standardized form provided by the International Relations Office, specifying the purpose of the trip, dates, and other relevant details. In addition, the curriculum of the invited professor must be attached.
- Invitation or acceptance from the UCM Center or Department, including a description and interest of the proposed activity.
- Approval from the Vice-Rectorate for International Relations and Cooperation of the UCM.
- Acceptance from the foreign university, with the approval of its Rectorate, Vice-Rectorate for International Relations , or equivalent governing body, with explicit reference to the existing agreement. This may be done by letter or email, confirming the purpose of the visit and proposed dates.
b) Proposed by the foreign university:
- Proposal for a visit, under agreement, compiled by the foreign university recorded on the standardized form provided by the International Relations Office, with the approval of its Rectorate, Vice-Rectorate for International Relations, or equivalent body, specifying the exact dates of the exchange period, its objective, and the material conditions offered.
- Acceptance from the receiving Department or Center of the Complutense University and explicit approval from the Vice-Rectorate for International Relations and Cooperation of the UCM, as recorded on the standardized form.
