Monitoring Area
The monitoring performed by the Service Inspection Unit is primarily focused on Bachelor’s and Master's teaching activities. This system is self-regulated by centres and departments, and since 2005, has been focused on guaranteeing that our students have access to the basic quality requirement, which is the normal performance of teaching activities.
For Teaching Monitoring to be correctly carried out, several control points have been established to ensure around 98% compliance of the teaching activity (Report on Monitoring Teaching Activity). These control points were established by the Agreement of the Governing Council of 13 June 2005 which approved the monitoring of teaching activity (Spanish). These points are:
- The Barometer of Monitoring Teaching Activity.
- Monitoring Commissions in each Centre.
- Self-declaration of the teacher via surveys.
- Replacement system of the Departments.
