The Complutense University of Madrid is committed to the "Green Erasmus" project to enhance the environmental sustainability of the Erasmus+ Program and raise awareness within the higher education sector in Europe.

The project’s objectives are:

• To reduce the negative environmental impact of the Erasmus+ Program.
• To raise awareness within the higher education sector in Europe about the importance of sustainable internationalization.
• To empower student organizations to become agents of change, promoting improvements in environmental sustainability.
