Angela Socastro
PhD Student
I am a General Sanitary Psychologist by the CEU San Pablo University of Madrid, a university in which I also studied the Degree in Psychology. In this stage, I was able to discover my vocation for research and teaching, since I participated in several projects and taught classes on different subjects.
My orientation has always been clinical, both in the degree, as in the choice of professional practices, subsequent jobs and research.
Currently I am a PhD student and I work as Research Support Personnel in the Department of Evaluation, Personality and Clinical Psychology of the Complutense University of Madrid.
The main topic of my research work is the analysis of cognitive mechanisms underlying high stress situations and their relationship with affective pathologies, with the aim of encouraging more resilient behavior patterns.
I am also interested in Neuropsychology, Forensic Psychology and Aeronautical Psychology.
In my free time, I like to practice sports such as swimming and walking, but above all, I love to enjoy with my family and friends in a good bar.
