Activity document and Research Plan
Each year the Academic Commission of the programme will evaluate the research plan and the activities document along with the reports to be issued by the Director and the tutor.
In the event that the Academic Commission detects significant shortcomings, it may request that the PhD student submit a new research plan within a period of six months; for this purpose, it will be an essential condition for the student to register for the programme. In the event that the shortcomings continue to occur, the Academic Commission must issue a reasoned report and the PhD student will be permanently withdrawn from the programme.
PhD student's Activities Document
- Doctoral student's activities document is the individualized record to monitor and control their activities within the program. This document will be reviewed by the thesis supervisor and the tutor.
- At the UCM, support will be provided electronically using the RAPI2 web application.
- The doctoral student must register the activities to be carried out each academic year, related to his/her programme, during his/her stay in the doctoral programme.
Research Plan
- Before the end of the first year, the PhD student will draw up a research plan that will include at least the methodology to be used and the objectives to be achieved, as well as the means and timetable for achieving them.
- This plan must be generated annually so that it can be improved and detailed during their stay on the programme and must be endorsed by the Director and the tutor.
On the Doctoral School's website you can consult the Joint Evaluation Schedule of the Doctoral Student Activities Document and the Research Plan with the deadline for modifyingboth in the RAPI2 application.
Please note that the information collected in RAPI2 is the only one that will be taken into consideration when depositing the PhD Thesis.
