“The project "Nanodrone: Nanomedicines directed to Neuroblastoma" leaded by the GIBI-UCM group has been one of the awardees of IDEA2 2015, an innovation competition sponsored by the regional government of Madrid and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The GIBI team members are Prof María Vallet-Regí, Dr Alejandro Baeza, Dr. Gonzalo Villaverde, Dr. Rafael Castillo and Mrs. Rocío Villegas. This project is a collaborative project with clinicians of Hospital Infantil Universitario Niño Jesús in Madrid and it is dealing with the development of novel targeting agents against Neuroblastoma.
