Viana-Huermeces-Mandayona
A thick succession of gypsum, carbonates and clastic rocks of Paleogene age crop out in the northern Tajo Basin border, close to the towns of Beleña de Sorbe, Baides, Viana de Jadraque and Huérmeces del Cerro (Guadalajara). The good outcrops quality allows developing a virtual field trip that tries to characterize the petrology and sedimentology of continental deposits such as carbonates and gypsum deposits.
