"Despite overall progress, marked differences across regions persist. Sub-Saharan Africa remains the region with the highest prevalence of undernourishment, with modest progress in recent years" (África sigue siendo la región con mayor prevalencia de la subalimentación, pues se calcula que más de una de cada cinco personas están subalimentadas. El África subsahariana tiene el nivel más alto de subalimentación: 24,8%, ver gráfica del pdf y figura 4).
