Honours and Awards received by Faculty Members
The following members of the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences were recognised:
- Ildefonso Díaz Díaz: Awarded the 1980 Mathematics of the Real Academia de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales Prize, 1989 Academia Canaria de Ciencias Prize and 2015 Jacques-Louis Lions Prize. He is Doctor Honoris Causa by the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (1996).
- David Gómez Castro: Awarded the 2018 Vicent Caselles Prize.
- F. Javier Martín Campo: Awarded the 2012 Ramiro Melendreras Prize.
- María del Carmen Pardo Llorente: Awarded the 1997 Ramiro Melendreras Prize.
- David Pérez: Awarded the 2012 Young Researcher RAC-Endesa Prize in Mathematics and 2017 Miguel Catalán Prize for yourn scientists and an ERC Consolidator Grant.
