Master's Degrees

Programme structure

The Master's Degree consists of 60 ECTS and is organized in modules and subjects:

  • Module of Theoretical and Experimental Methods in Chemistry: 12 compulsory ECTS
  • Module of Specialization: 18 optional ECTS (12 compulsory ECTS of itinerary + 6 optional)
  • Master's Thesis: 30 compulsory ECTS

The semester is the basic time unit and 30 ECTS are taken in each one of them. To obtain the title of Master's Degree, the student must take a total of 60 ECTS: 2 compulsory subjects, 2 itinerary compulsory subjects, 1 optional subject and the Master's Thesis.

The Master's Degree offers 4 itineraries, from which one must be chosen and in which 12 itinerary compulsory ECTS must be taken: Nanoscience and Nanomaterials; Materials Science and Technology; Instrumentation and Analysis; and Perspectives in Chemistry.
