On March 14 and 15, 2023, the International Seminar was held at the Faculty of Social Work within the framework of the teaching innovation project No. 357 entitled

"International proposal for the creation of a transversal subject on collaborative conflict resolution and culture of peace for the university community of the UCM" (2022-2023) attended by professors and mediators from Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, England and USA.

With the results of the project, a proposal was prepared for the Rectorate of the UCM, to be taken into account in the improvement processes of the transversal subjects offered each year, with special attention to the transversal competence of collaborative conflict management and peace culture.

In addition, the group took a Jane walk through Cañada Real accompanying the Barró mediators, with Aura Morales at the helm as coordinator of the association's social mediation projects. On this walk we looked closely at the Cañada, listened or thought about what we saw.

The day ended with a meeting with the educators where the walk was evaluated and a community breakfast sponsored by the Educo association.
