DRLab engages in a range of activities, including:
- Establishing an international network for the exchange of information at conferences and events.
- Collaborating in teaching through lectures or seminars and facilitating contact between students.
- Research and innovation in the field of mediation and conflict resolution to promote high-quality, empirical studies internationally.

- International Proposal for the Creation of a Cross-Disciplinary Course on Collaborative Conflict Resolution and a Culture of Peace for the UCM University Community (2023)
- International Proposal for the Creation This is a compulsory module on mediation and collaborative conflict resolution for the Bachelor's degree in Social Work and other related degrees. The project received the UCM Innova Award for achieving the highest score in the social sciences during the academic year (2021)
- Transformative Learning in Times of Pandemic: New Challenges for the University Community (2021)

As part of UCM Science Week, members of the laboratory have organized a variety of activities.

Reporting
Two reports have been submitted to the UCM’s governing bodies as a result of the work carried out on the teaching innovation projects described above.
- 2026: Report on the Meeting for Analysis and Improvement Proposals Regarding the Integration of Spanish and International Students at the Faculty of Social Work.
- 2023: A proposal to improve training in cross-disciplinary skills in conflict resolution and mediation for UCM students. This report was submitted to the rectorate office of the UCM.
- 2022: A proposal for training in conflict resolution and mediation for the Bachelor's degree in Social Work and other related degree programmes. The Dean's Office of the Faculty of Social Work received this report.
Open international seminars for the university community and the general public.
Three international seminars on mediation and conflict management have been held as part of the innovation projects carried out.

- Mediation: International Experiences, A Shared Vision (2021). A collaborative project between the University of Cordoba (UCM) and the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), coordinated by M. Blanco Carrasco and L. García Villaluenga. Reus Publishing.
- Beyond Adversity: Global Perspectives on Family Dispute Processes for Peace and Justice (in progress, expected publication date: 2026). This project is the result of collaboration between UCM and FAU (Florida, USA), edited by A. Barsky, M. Colvin and M. Blanco Carrasco. Oxford University Press.
- Beyond the Courtroom: Comprehensive Approaches to Family Conflict Resolution (in progress, 2026). A research project coordinated by M. Blanco Carrasco and edited by A. I. Corchado Castillo and N. Luna.
- Exploring Social Conflicts through Photovoice: An International and Interdisciplinary Perspective. A research project linked to the educational innovation project of the same name. Principal investigator: Ana I. Corchado Castillo.
