Dear Colleagues,
This week we learned the sad and unexpected news of the death of our dear colleague Eugenio Roanes Lozano. A great person and a great mathematician. On behalf of all IMI members I send to all his family, friends and colleagues our deepest condolences for such a painful loss. Below you can read a note about it, written by Gustavo Muñoz. RIP.

17 de abril de 2023. Fruto de la iniciativa Acción Matemática contra el Coronavirus lanzada por el CEMAT en 2020 se ha publicado el artículo "Effectiveness of non-pharmaceutical intervention in nine fields of activity to decrease SARS-COV-2 transmission" del que Begoña Vitoriano (miembro del IMI) es coautora.
