EG008-Raso Pino I
The EG008- Raso del Pino I automatic weather station is located in a deforested area of about 90 meters in diameter into an ancient pine forest (Valsaín Forests) at 1.803 m.a.s.l. Subsurface instrumentation comprises two boreholes of 2 and 20 meters depth, also temperature and humidity sensors at different heights. The purpose of this site is to compare the evolution of the atmosphere and subsurface with its twin weather station Raso del Pino II with is stamped into the pine forest about 250 meters away.
