EG002-Cabeza Mediana automatic weather station is located at the top of a hill in the Rascafría valley at an altitude of 1682 m.a.s.l. Their wind and air temperature measurements are fairly representative of the free atmosphere within the valley. It is located on a granite outcrop and it has not subsurface instrumentation
