The Centre is formed by researchers with extensive experience. It is a multidisciplinary team in the study of the brand and has experts in diverse fields, such as: brand identity, talent and corporate culture, responsible brands, communication and content production, development of indicators and metrics, social and economic aspects, etc.
Paloma Díaz Soloaga, PhD

Full Professor in intangible assets and Fashion Management (UCM). She started her career in Telva and she is the creator of the Fashion Communication and Management Diploma, (CUV) 2007, and she is the Honorary Director. She was Coordinator at ISEM Business School and Academic Coordinator of Condé Nast College. Visiting Professor and Researcher at Harvard University, Illinois Urbana Champaign, NYU, FIT, Glasgow Caledonian University, La Sapienza, UCSD. Author of Communication and Fashion Brand Management.
Sonia Carcelén García, PhD

PhD in Communication at UCM. Lecturer in the Business Organization and Marketing department. She has participated in several research projects and she is the author of books and articles in scientific journals.
Expert in brand, consumer behavior and new trends in communication. Visiting professor at the Real Colegio Complutense at Harvard and at the University of Montevideo.

She has participated in international conferences, she has published articles in prestigious scientific journals and she has collaborated in teaching innovation projects. Her scientific production is linked to brand activism, communication and social responsibility.
Lidia Maestro Espínola

Her career and scientific production is linked to the study of economy of media, advertising and marketing. Among her publications are articles in scientific journals, books and book chapters. She has participated in R&I projects.
Abel Monfort de Bedoya, PhD

Director of Research Undergraduate Studies, associate researcher of the Permanent Research Unit (UPI) at ESIC, Business & Marketing School. Professor accredited by ANECA and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
He has been visiting scholar at the W. Michael Hoffman Center for Business Ethics (Bentley University). His research focuses on CSR in digital environments.
Teresa Pintado Blanco, PhD

PhD in Communication and professor of the Organization of Companies and Marketing Department (UCM). She has participated in marketing and communication research projects and she has several publications in academic journals and different books.
Her professional experience has been developed in multinational advertising agencies, as well as marketing and business management departments.
Ana Sebastián Morillas, PhD

PhD in Audiovisual Communication and Advertising and Public Relations Professor in Social, Legal and Communication Sciences School, University of Valladolid. She has been the Coordinator of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising Department of this School.
She has also been a RCC Fellow at Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts). In recent years she has done Erasmus mobility teaching in several European universities.
Jorge Clemente Mediavilla, PhD

Research interests: Audiovisual content, advertising and new media, online communication (formats, contents, audiences).
Author of books and articles in national and international scientific journals. Member of the evaluation board of several scientific journals.
Rebeca Antolín Prieto, PhD
PhD in Communication. Postgraduate degree in Digital Marketing and Advertising from IE Business School. Degree in Advertising and Public Relations.
Research interests: Social Media and Digital Marketing.

Elena Fernández Blanco, PhD

In charge of the Chair at the Pontifical University of Salamanca, expert in strategic planning and advertising media. She has participated in more than 20 research projects, financed by public projects and private contracts.

Associate Researcher of the Permanent Research Unit (UPI) at ESIC. Senior Lecturer in CSR, intangible assets and corporate communication. Fellowship at Bristol University, UK and Associate Professor at SISU, Shanghai, China. She participates in different international conferences and she has research publications in international academic journals.
Graciela Padilla Castillo, PhD

PhD in Communication, Bachelor of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication. Coordinator of the Degree in Journalism (UCM). She has completed her postdoctoral training at UCLA, USA, and she has worked as a gender expert at BUAP, Mexico. Expert in Information Theory, Ethics, Television Fiction and Gender Studies.
Author and co-author of a hundred book chapters and academic articles. She has coordinated 10 collective works and participated in 30 research projects.
Joaquín Sánchez Herrera, PhD

He has participated in more than 12 communication and marketing books. He has published his research in prestigious international journals, such as: Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Marketing Channels and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services.

She is currently a principal researcher and coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module (2017-2020). The Role of Public Service Media in Promoting Active Citizenship and Inclusive Dialogue, IP of Spain for the European Project ARTIVISM: artistic practices as instruments of social transformation. She is part of the management team for Spain of the European Journalism Observatory.
