This book presents the Spanish conclusions of the Eupillar Project on cross-border litigation in the European Union
The publication spreads the results of the research developed in Spain in the years 2014, 2015 and 2016 on cross-border litigation in family matters and civil and commercial matters over the period 2002-2015. The research focused on the application of the Regulations of European Private International Law on jurisdiction and applicable law as well as recognition and enforcement of foreign court decisions.
The book also includes a series of lectures by leading experts, judges and lawyers that participated in the Eupillar seminar Civil Justice in the European Union: assessment of the Spanish experience and future prospects.
