NEUROKNOWLEDGE RESEARCH CENTER

What makes modern human mind unique? To the extent that we can answer this question with precision, we are permitted to speculate on what the steps have been along human evolution. In the NeuroKnowledge Research Center our main purpose is contributing to better understanding modern human’s mind and brain.

Our main technique is a 64-channel EEG system to study brain function on a number of cognitive processes, most of them presumably related with what makes modern human mind unique. In this regard, the NeuroKnowledge Research Center develops research lines approaching human language, religious thought and aesthetics behavior, among others. The section also uses MRI and fMRI experiments in the frame of various collaborations.

The NeuroKnowledge Research Center welcomes you, and invites you to participate in our diverse scientific and academic activities.
