Duration of studies
For doctoral studies, students may opt for full-time or part-time study, with the prior authorisation of the Academic Committee responsible for the programme.
Full-time:
For doctoral students admitted before the academic year 2023-24, the duration of the doctoral studies will be a maximum of three years, counting from their admission to the programme until the submission of the Doctoral Thesis.
For doctoral students admitted from the academic year 2023-24 (inclusive) the duration of doctoral studies will be a maximum of four years, counting from their admission to the programme until the submission of the doctoral thesis.
Part-time:
For doctoral students admitted before the academic year 2023-24, the duration of doctoral studies will be a maximum of five years, counting from admission to the programme until the submission of the doctoral thesis.
For doctoral students admitted from the academic year 2023-24 (inclusive) the duration of the doctoral studies will be a maximum of seven years, counting from their admission to the programme until the submission of the doctoral thesis.
If the application for submission of the thesis has not been submitted by the deadline, the programme committee may, at the student's request, authorise an initial extension, the duration of which depends on the type of studies and the date of admission to the programme:
