Entendemos los difíciles momentos por los que está atravesando Ucrania y queremos mostrar toda nuestra solidaridad y apoyo. / We can hardly understand how difficult must be the times Ukraina is living, and therefore we would like to show you all our solidarity and support. 

 

En primer lugar, muchas gracias por habernos escrito mostrando tu interés en continuar estudiando en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y te pedimos disculpas porque no hemos podido responderte antes pero estamos ultimando los procedimientos. / First of all, we really appreciate your interest in the possibility of continuing your studies at Complutense University. And we are sorry about the delay in answering all of you, but we are still designing changes in our procedures. 

 

En segundo lugar, queremos trasladarte información importante en función de vuestros perfiles. No podemos asegurar que os contestemos individualmente/ Secondly, we would like to share relevant information according with your different profiles. Sorry but we cannot assure individual answers to all of you. 

 

La Universidad Complutense es una universidad presencial que imparte la mayoría de sus titulaciones en español, por ello:/ Complutense University is offering most of the grades and master's  programs in Spanish and using a face-to-face modality, therefore:  

 

1) Si eres un estudiante que quieres continuar tus estudios (trasladar tu expediente) en nuestra universidad, y tienes un nivel B2 en Español debes seguir estos pasos / If you are an undergraduate student from an Ukrainian university and you want to continue your studies in our university (transfering your academic files) and you have a Diploma of B2 level of Spanish then follow next steps:

• Solicita el reconocimiento parcial de estudios extranjeros / Apply for the partial recognition of your studies and the admision in our universityAquí/ Here:  Con estudios iniciados en el extranjero o con titulación universitaria extranjera | Universidad Complutense de Madrid (ucm.es) [Medical Studies is not opened]
• Plazo del 19 de abril al 3 de junio / Application period  from April 19th until June 3rd 
• Documentación/ Documents:Pasaporte, Certificado de asignaturas cursadas y aprobadas, Programas de las asignaturas y número de horas, Equivalencia de Nota Media, Acreditación del Nivel B2 de Español. Passport  / Academic Record / Average Grade, B2 Level of Spanish certificate. 
• Los documentos deben estar legalizados vía diplomática y traducidos, pero entendemos que esto puede ser difícil, y estamos viendo opciones. No os preocupéis porque estamos en todas las universidades europeas buscando vías. Si podéis traducir los documentos previamente, sería lo mejor.. / Documents should be legalized through diplomatic channels and translated by an official translator, but we consider this can be difficult under the situation in Ukraine. Send them as best as you can.

1.1 ) Si has terminado tus estudios de bachillerato en Ucrania y tienes un B2 de español acreditado, sigue las instrucciones / If you have already finished Secondary school and you have a B2 Level of Spanish Certificate, follow the instructions to start your first year as a Complutense student:  Non-EU education systems | Oficina de Información (ucm.es)  

 

1.2) Si has terminado tus estudios de Bachillerato, o eres estudiante universitario de una universidad ucraniana  y no  tienes un nivel B2 en Español y quieres estudiar en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid / If you have finished your bachelor degree in Ukraine or you are already an undergraduate student from an Ukrainian university and you don't have a B2 Level of Spanish Certificate, but you would like to study at Complutense University

• Dinos si estás interesado en cursar un Año de Transición, aprendiendo español y asignaturas relacionadas con los estudios que te gustaría comenzar / Tell us if you are interested in applying for a Transition year programme to learn Spanish. This course will also include some pre-undergraduate courses. Once it will be approved, you could be enrolled as a UCM student.  
• Usa este formulario, por favor / Please, use  this form: Formulario Estudiantes Ucranianos / Form for Ucranian Students | Universidad Complutense de Madrid (ucm.es) We will give you more information as soon as possible, but this special Transition Year is still under construction, since we are looking for additional funds for scholarships. 

2) Si tú tienes un título de grado y quieres continuar estudios de Máster, y tienes un Nivel B2 de español / If you have already finished an university degree and you have a B2 Level of Spanish certificate, and you want to continuing with a Master's program at Complutense University, 

• Solicita ser admitido siguiendo las instrucciones generales / Apply to be accepted following the general instructions  Admisión a Máster | Universidad Complutense de Madrid (ucm.es)  Next period of admission: From April 27 until May 27. 

2.2) Si tú tienes un título de grado y quieres continuar estudios de Máster, y no tienes un Nivel B2 de español / If you have already finished an university degree and you do not have a B2 Level of Spanish certificate, and you want to continuing with a Master's program at Complutense University, 

• Dinos si estás interesado en cursar un Año de Transición, aprendiendo español y asignaturas relacionadas con los estudios que te gustaría comenzar / Tell us if you are interested in applying for a Transition year programme to learn Spanish (B2 Level). This course will also include some postgraduate courses in your area of interest. Once it will be approved, you could be enrolled as a UCM student.  
• Usa este formulario, por favor / Please, use  this form: Formulario Estudiantes Ucranianos / Form for Ucranian Students | Universidad Complutense de Madrid (ucm.es) We will give you more information as soon as possible, but this possibility is still under construction, since we are looking for additional funds. 

Si crees que puedes obtener un B2 de Español, pero no lo tienes certificado, os podemos mandar información sobre la posibilidad de exámenes de español en la UCM lo antes posible. / If you believe you could obtain a B2 Spanish level before September 2022, but you can not certificate it , we will send information about the possibility of Spanish Level Exam at Complutense University, as soon as possible. 

 

En todos los casos, puedes solicitar entrar en el Programa para personas refugiadas de la UCM si has solicitado protección internacional  /  In all cases, you could apply to be part of the Refugee Welcome Program and apply for scholarships and accommodation if you have applied for european or international protection  [Programa de Acogida Universitaria para Personas Refugiadas | Universidad Complutense de Madrid (ucm.es)] If you are interested, just contact to arae@ucm.es
