Information 

Laila Yousef Sandoval holds a PhD in Philosophy with cum laude and European Mention from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has a Bachelor Degree in Philosophy (UCM), a Bachelor Degree in Political Sciences and Administration (UNED), a Master in Advanced Studies in Philosophy (UCM) and a Certificate in Security and Defense Studies (CESEDEN and UCM). She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of the UCM with a FPU scholarship and carried out pre-doctoral research stages at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and at the Institute of European Studies in Brussels. She is currently Professor (Profesora Ayudante Doctor) at the Department of Philosophy and Society at the Faculty of Philosophy at UCM. She is a member of the research group History and Ontology of the Present. The Hispanic Perspective (UCM). Her research activity focuses on political philosophy and conceptual history issues, more specifically on the philosophy of conflict and International Relations.
