Information
Professor Ana Belén Berrocal Menárguez currently works in the Department of Civil Engineering: Transport and Territory. She is part of the research group "PaisajeCultural. Contemporary interventions in the city and the territory" formed by 17 researchers of the Universidad Polit cnica de Madrid. He is also a member of the Cooperation and Road Engineering Group (CIC). He has experience in environmental engineering, river restoration, land use planning, rural development and heritage assessment. She received her PhD in Civil Engineering in 2013 and has been working and teaching in different educational centres such as the Castillo de Batres School of Gardening and Landscaping (Camilo José Cela University) or the School of Architecture and the School of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She has been involved in more than 30 national and international research projects and more than 40 consultancy projects in collaboration with public and private organisations. The results of her research are 16 articles published in national and international journals, 32 proceedings and she has collaborated in more than 30 published books. Professor Ana Belén Berrocal Menárguez, has also supervised more than 20 TFM and TFG, has coordinated 4 projects focused on Innovation in Education funded by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
