INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR THE ARCHITECTURAL TERRACES OF THE PUBLIC SPACES OF ROMAN HISPANIA
This International Seminar constituted an educational activity for undergraduate and master's degree students at the Faculty of Geography and History. The event brought together a group of Spanish and foreign researchers to address and discuss the constructive aspects of terraces, substructures and cryptoporticos and their role in generating a scenographic landscape at the service of Hispanic public architecture.

MICRO-CREDIT COURSE 14 ECTS - ROMAN ARCHAEOLOGY (C9EJ-M0022401)
This course is dedicated to Roman Archaeology. It is aimed at university pupils interested in the work and research aspects of archaeology. Its development allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge to specific situations in an excavation. It also helps to acquire other practical knowledge necessary to analyze the process of the scientific method and to make appropriate use of the techniques of archaeological documentation and recording.

SEMINAR ROMAN MARMORA FROM THE INTERIOR OF THE IBERIAN PENINSULA. USES IN ARCHITECTURE
This seminar was conceived as an activity for undergraduate and master's degree pupils studying at the Faculty of Geography and History. The first day consisted of lectures by researchers dedicated to their study, and the second, more practical, included a laboratory dealing with the identification, traces of work and typology of marble materials. The meeting was attended by national professors and researchers working in this line of research in Roman archaeology. Its aim was to provide an update on the study of marbles, quarries, lapidary varieties and their use in architecture in the specific geographical area of the Hispanic Meseta.

“SEGOBRIGA” REPORT BROADCASTED ON DMAX IN THE SERIES "CURIOSIDADES DE LA TIERRA: ESPAÑA"
The TV programme visited the archaeological site of Segobriga, which provides evidence of the Roman Empire's influence in Hispania. Rosario Cebrián accompanied the recording team and provided insights into the urban development of an indigenous community initiated during the Augustan period. This development was supported by the economic strength of Segobriga and its lucrative trade of lapis specularis.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATION GUIDED TOURS. CAMPAIGN 2024
During this campaign, the members of the archaeological team have organised visits to the archaeological excavations in order to complete the dissemination of research in Segobriga to the general public.

ACTIVITY "THE FORUM OF SEGOBRIGA UNDER STUDY". EUROPEAN ARCHAEOLOGY DAYS 2024
This activity has been programmed as part of the EAD as a way of disseminating the research project and bringing 21st century archaeology closer to society. There will be guided visits to the forum of Segobriga, led by Rosario Cebrián, scientific director of the site, to explain all the keys to understanding of this archaeological site.

Rosario Cebrián explains in the TV show what was the key resource and economic activity that allowed the city to become a municipality in 15 BC and which led it to begin its monumentalisation programme. The interview, recorded inside the forensic basilica, focuses on the forum, Segobriga's most representative public space.

CONFERENCE SO IT WAS, THIS IS WHAT WE SEE. SEGOBRIGA IN THE EARLY IMPERIAL PERIOD
The books Roma Antica: Come era e come è have been published since the 1960s, evoking the ancient landscape of the capital of the Empire. One of the first examples of virtual recreation of the public space of a Roman city in Spain was developed in Segobriga. It was a pioneering work in the creation of a language for the communication of Roman cities to the general public. This informative conference, aimed at the local population, was organized in collaboration with the Archaeological Park of Segóbriga. Public buildings excavated on the archaeological site and their virtual restitution were presented.

A collaboration with the National Geographic Society allowed the archaeological site of Segobriga to be one of the sites chosen for the History Experiences programme.
