SALUVET group

 

SALUVET is a research group located in Madrid at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences of the Complutense University. Our team comprises Professors, Lecturers, Postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, Research assistants, and Administration staff.

 

 

Our research interests span both basic and applied studies in Animal Health and Public Health, encompassing:

• Protozoan infections in ruminants.
• Development of in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo experimental models.
• Development of diagnostic tests and control tools (drugs and vaccines).
• Study of the biological variability, virulence factors and pathogenic mechanisms in apicomplexan parasites.
• Protozoan foodborne zoonoses.

Requirements

 

All interested candidates must submit records of their academic average grades, which should be above 7.5. Please note that those students coming from 240 ECTS degrees are required to hold a 60 ECTS Master’s degree to be eligible for enrollment in the PhD program in Veterinary Sciences.
