Introduction

PLAN FOR INTERNATIONALISATION

The Complutense University of Madrid is an international higher education institution that includes students and teaching and administrative staff from more than 40 countries, where more than 11 languages are spoken on its campuses. In response to this reality, the UCM has developed the Plan for Internationalization: a comprehensive strategic plan aimed at making this international experience more visible and accessible to a greater number of interested parties through:

The adoption of an international vision of the university that, in addition to mobility, gradually promotes internationalization.

Cooperation with transnational professors and researchers through international networks and projects.

Improving the foreign language proficiency of our students as well as their international curriculum and enhancing their future job opportunities.

Attracting international students and staff.

The inclusion of international and intercultural competencies as part of the learning outcomes.
