- 9 July 2024. The MOMAT Research Group announces the next call for a research position in mathematical modeling and simulation. The call is scheduled for July 19 but interested parties may contact Ángel Manuel Ramos (angel@mat.ucm.es) for more information.
The contract will be within the framework of the European M-ERA.NET project "Sustainable High-Voltage Batteries Based on Hybrid Cathodes Enabling Dual-Ion Energy Storage".
The minimum requirements for candidates will be as follows: Degree in Mathematics or Physics, with Master in Mathematical Engineering or Master in Mathematics.
Merits to be valued: The academic record of the bachelor's and master's degrees will be taken into account. Experience in the study of mathematical modeling of physical problems (in particular, batteries) and their numerical simulation will also be taken into account.
Position Details
-Tasks: Development of a mathematical model describing the electrochemical behavior of hybrid dual batteries. Mathematical analysis, numerical simulation, and validation of the model.
-Duration: From 07/October/2024 to 31/03/2027.
-Hours per week: 37,5
-Salary: 2.273,46 € (14 payments per year).

- 14 July 2020. The MOMAT Group offers postdoctoral positions in the framework of the 1st call for the postdoctoral recruitment programme UNA4CAREER launched by Complutense University of Madrid.
UNA4CAREER is a programme that involves hiring experienced researchers to develop research, training and knowledge transfer projects, with a total budget of 7.4 million euros, and which is co-financed by the UCM and the European Union through the COFUND call for Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions in Horizon 2020.
Through this first call, the Complutense University of Madrid hopes to hire up to 20 postdoctoral researchers to join one of the University’s 94 research groups classified as “excellent”, according to the external evaluation carried out by the Spanish State Research Agency.
This first call will be open between July 13 and September 13, 2020.
