This Topical Issue of EPJD: Atomic, Molecular, Optical and Plasma Physics is to be published following the International Conference XXI European Conference on Dynamics of Molecular Systems (MOLEC 2016), Toledo, Spain, 11-16 September 2016.

Contributions are welcome on current topics in the field of Reaction Dynamics involving atoms, molecules, clusters, and surfaces. The Topical Issue will be primarily based on the contributions reported on MOLEC 2016, but is not to be considered as the proceedings of the conference. All submissions will be subject to the usual peer review standards of the journal. Note that acceptance for the conference MOLEC 2016 does not guarantee acceptance for the published Topical Issue.

The extended deadline for submission of manuscripts for this Topical Issue is February 28, 2017.
