Pedro Sánchez - Secretary
- Pedro J. Sánchez Gómez has a PhD in Quantum Chemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He has been research fellow in atomic physics at Frankfurt and Cambridge universities, and he is currently Associate Professor in Science Education at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. His research interests focus on the relations between science education and scientific practice, and on the philosophical foundations of chemistry. More specifically, he is interested, on the one hand, in the transformations undertaken by scientific knowledge when it is adapted into an educational context. On the other, he is studying the relations between the traditional structural ideas in chemistry, and the quantum description of molecules. He has published several papers on both atomic physics-quantum chemistry, and on science education.
