Mario Santos Sousa
- Mario Santos-Sousa is an honorary fellow at the Department of Logic and Theoretical Philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and managing editor of Theoria: An International Journal for Theory, History and Foundations of Science. With a PhD on the epistemology of basic cardinal arithmetic in the works at University College London (UCL), his research focuses on contemporary studies in numerical cognition as well as on early modern writings on the topic. He is also developing an introductory MOOC on the subject hosted by the National University of Distance Education (UNED). Besides numbers and our knowledge of them, he is interested in the methodology of current psychiatric practice, with a focus on the nosology of mental disorders.
