Dancizo Toro
- Dancizo Toro Rivadeneira is a biologist from CAECE University of Buenos Aires. He completed Masters in Conservation Biology, Evolutionary Biology, and Epistemology of Natural and Social Sciences, and joined MSR in 2017. Dancizo has researched the molecular mechanisms of thyroid cancer and the biogeography and phylogeny of Andean tardigrades. In the area of the philosophy of biology, he has researched the process of cryptobiosis and biological innovations. His PhD thesis, entitled "Temporal Niche Construction: Towards a Synechological Representation of Evolutionary Theory" was defended and awarded cum laude in April 2022. His current research interests are focused on coevolutionary relationships that participate in the temporal constitution of ecological niches.
