After graduating in Physics from Universidad de Oviedo, I completed an MSc at the Institute of Theoretical Physics in Universität Ulm, where I specialized in Quantum Information and Technologies. From there I moved to the Grup d’Informació Quàntica (GIQ) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as a 'la Caixa' doctoral fellow. After enjoying a 3-month research stay at Queen's University Belfast, I rejoined GIQ as a postdoctoral researcher. Since 2022 I work as a lecturer at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and continue my research in the MathQI group. 

 

My research interests range from quantum resource theories, open quantum systems and quantum thermodynamics, to quantum simulation and certification.
