I did my degree in Physics (Licenciado en Ciencias Físicas, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, 2002) and I obtained my PhD in Mathematics (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, 2008). I have held postdoctoral positions in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2008-2010) and Universität Innsbruck (2010-2013). Since 2013 I am working in Departamento de Matemáticas at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, first as assistant professor (profesor ayudante doctor), and then as associate professor (profesor titular) since 2019.

I am interested in quantum information theory in general. My main research topics are entanglement theory, non-locality and quantum resource theories.
