My main scientific interest is biodiversity conservation, particularly bird conservation.
Mitigating the anthropogenic impact that society causes is one of my concerns, which
is why I find the study of urban bird communities crucial.
Pollution is one of the main factors that threaten biodiversity, like plastic pollution,
which is one of the predominant residues found in nature. As part of my Doctoral
Thesis, I will try to assess the effects this material may have on birds associated to
urban areas, such as the White Stork (Ciconia ciconia), the Common Swift (Apus apus)
or the Eurasian Tree Sparrow (Passer montanus).
