Félix García-Ochoa Soria, Full Professor
Full Professor of Chemical Engineering, Félix García-Ochoa has been related with Complutense University of Madrid since 1973. He was co-director of Biotechnology Master of Complutense University (from 1988 to 1995), as well as director and co-director of various seminars and formation courses, Summer Seminars of Complutense Univerity of Madrid and actualization and formation sessions for high school teachers (from 1991 to 2001). He had several stays in other universities during his tenure, such as Erlangen (Germany), Swansea, (United Kingdom), Wageningen (Holland), Manchester (United Kingdom), Edinburgh (United Kingdom), Salto (Argentina) and Pittsburgh (United States).
He has published more than 200 articles on national and international publications, from which more than 140 in international high impact journals related to the fields of Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering and Environmental sciences. As well, he has more than 180 communications in national and international Congresses and four patented inventions in the field of biotechnological processes. He has written more than 100 confidential reports for several corporations, as a part of more than 20 collaboration agreements. He has acted as a reviewer for more than 15 journals and is a member of the Editorial Comitee of ‘Química e Industria’.
