CLARIAH-CM Node is a digital research infrastructure comprised of the six public universities in the Community of Madrid. Its goal is to enhance research in the Humanities with the support of the European infrastructures CLARIN-ERIC and DARIAH-EU.

CLARIN (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure) consists of centers from twenty-three countries and aims to support the exchange, use, and maintenance of linguistic data and tools for research in the Social Sciences and Humanities. One of CLARIN's main objectives is to ensure that all linguistic resources and tools integrated into the infrastructure are accessible from a common portal for all researchers.

DARIAH (Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities) seeks to enhance research and teaching in the Arts and Humanities through digital technology. DARIAH focuses on promoting the production, preservation, and exchange of multimodal computational data, services, and tools, ensuring their long-term accessibility and dissemination. The infrastructure also offers educational materials and training opportunities to facilitate the development of digital research skills and the adoption of good practices at a transnational and transdisciplinary level.

The CLARIAH-CM Node is part of the CLARIAH-ES consortium, which includes twelve nodes at the national and regional levels, aiming to promote these infrastructures and organize Spain's official participation in them.
